May 9- Jeté and her brother Bodhi went to a UKC show May 9.  They did great!  Bodhi was Best  Gordon Novice Puppy show 1 and Jeté was Best Gordon Novice Puppy show 2!  Both puppies showed like they had been doing it for ever.

June-Jeté has been growing up nicely.  She's been doing very well on the birds.

July 31- Jeté went the Waukesha Kennel Club.  She was in the 4-6 month puppy competition.  She was the best Gordon Setter puppy (only one!) but then went on to a Sporting Group 3 out of 8 sporting puppies.  Thank you to Sarah Foster for taking her in the ring.

Jeté is a wild child!  She loves the birds and is getting to be very good at finding them.  She has graduated to pigeons, no more chasing the quail and catching them!  Dale, the bird trainer is very happy with her progress.

August 15- Jeté was Reserve Winner's Bitch under Judge  Nikki Riggsbee beating her cousin Paisley!

September-Jeté was been introduced to swimming!  At first she wasn't sure that she wanted to go in to fetch the bumper but after seeing Dale's German Wire-hair Pointer, Addie, fetch it she was all in.  She did a great job for her first real swimming adventure.  Our goal is a Natural Ability pass with NAVHDA in the spring.  She has to swim, point a bird and follow a drag of a bird and listen!  Everything is going well but the listening.  Still working on that!

The middle of September we (Jeté, Cinder, Paisley, Norris, Kristie & Sarah Foster and me) are headed to Virginia Beach, VA for the Gordon Setter National Specialty.  Fingers crossed that everyone does well and we have a great time!

I was unable to attend the National due to a positive covid test the weekend before we were to leave.  Thanks for Sarah & Kristie Foster for taking my girls.  Sarah did a beautiful job showing my girls.

September 18 was the Mid-Atlantic Area Regional Specialty.  Jeté did not have any placements under Judges Tom Dowell and Betsy Horn Humer but she showed very well.

The National Specialty was September 19-21.  Jeté did not place in her sweepstakes class under Judge Diane Avery but in her regular class Judge Nena Dee gave her 4th place.  Thanks to Lis De Souza who flew out to show my girls at the National.

October 23- Jeté and Paisley went to a UKC show in Loves Park, IL with Allison Miller.  Paisley beat Jeté and finished her UKC Champion title.

October 24- Jeté went to her first Hunt Test.  She didn't find a bird so she didn't pass but she got a 8/10 for both hunting ability and trainability.  Thanks to Dale Nimitz for loving and training my girl and for running her in the hunt test.  Jeté hunted her heart out for you.

2022

February 24-27- Jeté went to the Renaissance Dog Shows in Madison, WI.  On Thursday she was Reserve Winner's Bitch but on Friday Jeté was Winner's Bitch for her first point!  On Saturday she won her class but nothing else.  Sunday, Lis was exhausted so we pulled her.

During February & March Jeté has been taking puppy agility class and doing very well.  Have to keep her brain busy!  Thank you to Ryan B. for running her in class when I can't.

April 10 Jeté went to a Hunt Test and came home with her first pass!  3 more to go!  She had a 9 in pointing and 7's in hunting, trainability, and bird finding.  S0 proud of my puppy!  Thank you to Dale Nemitz of Bonniedale GWP's for training and running her.  May 14 & 15 are the next hunt tests.

May 14 & 15- Jeté got 3 more passes to  complete her Junior Hunter title.  Thanks to Dale Nemitz!

May 22- Jeté went to a NAVHDA Natural Ability test with Dale.  She came home with NA III title.  So proud of my little girl.  Next big event is the National in June!

June 17-18 was the Gordon Setter National Specialty in Greyslake, IL.  On Friday, Jeté was 2nd in her Sweepstakes class and on Saturday, was was 2nd in a huge 12-18 month class.

August 25-28 Laurie, Deb, Lena the DSF and Jete the Gordon went to the Dodge County Canine Club UKC shows in Ladysmith, WI.  Jete needed 3 competition wins to finish her UKC CH title.  She received a group 4 and two group 2's to finish her UKC Champion title.  Thank you to Kenedi Wrezzes for handling her to her title.

2023

Jeté loved it!

September 30-October 5 was the GSCA National Specialty in Gettysburgy, PA.  Jeté did terrific.  She was entered in the Hunting Bitch class.  At the regional specialty, she placed 2nd in her class and at the National she placed 3rd.  I'm so proud of my girl.  Thank you so much to Kristeen Christman-Davidson.
